Walking into Northlandz is like stepping into a tiny world where imagination runs wild. Tucked along Route 202 in Flemington, New Jersey, this place bills itself as the world’s largest model railroad, and once you’re inside, you’ll see why. The massive layout sprawls across multiple levels with hundreds of trains chugging along miles of miniature track that twist through mountains, valleys, tunnels, and towns full of tiny buildings and quirky scenes.
What makes Northlandz fun is how much detail it packs into every inch. You’ll spot dozens of bridges that thread over deep canyons, landscapes that switch from snowy peaks to bustling villages, and animated sections where pressing buttons brings little scenes to life.
