Father’s Day is Sunday, June 21 and if your plan is “I dunno, maybe a grill accessory or a tie?” – we’re here to help. New Jersey has something for every kind of dad this weekend, from the dude who cannot fish enough to the one who loves grease under his nails.

Atlantic County

North to Shore Festival

Open Cockpit Weekend at the Aviation Hall of Fame

At the Aviation Hall of Fame your dad can climb into the cockpit of a rare Lockheed Bushmaster plane and a U.S. Coast Guard rescue helicopter. 31st Annual Father’s Day Cruise to the Jersey Shore Car Show

Battle of Monmouth Reenactment

Hundreds of reenactors recreate one of the largest battles of the American Revolution โ€” cannons, cavalry, muskets, the whole deal. Camp tours, historical talks, and the legend of Molly Pitcher are all part of the Battle of Monmouth weekend. This is especially massive this year with the America250 celebration. A $15/car suggested donation gets you the whole weekend.

The NJ Airshow features world-class aerial performers, a massive drone show, fireworks, and pyrotechnics shooting off airplane wings. Cowtown Rodeo

Multiple running train layouts, a live band, food truck, balloon animals, a working R2D2, and meet-and-greets with local fire and EMT crews. This is genuinely one of the most unique events on the list. $10, under 10 free.


Sussex County

NJ Beer & Food Festival at Crystal Springs Resort
