Event Details

The Mayfest runs Saturday and Sunday, from 10am to 5pm. However, I have a little inside information for you. If you arrive by 9:30am, the crafters will be ready to go, which allows you to experience a one on one with the vendors, and you will beat the crowds!

Feeling a little hungry? Stroll on over to the international food court at the Mayfest where due to the large variety of food, making a decision can be tough but don’t forget to save some room for dessert!

The funnel cake is a must-have! If you want to avoid the lines, take your lunch break around 11-11:30am. After you order, you can enjoy the beautiful day as well as your lunch on one of our picnic benches!

Are you ready for a little fun? So are we! Head over to the paddle boats where you can take your time gliding across the lake at your leisure. Not to mention, the paddle boats are great exercise to work off all that yummy food. If you’re not in the mood to paddle, the carousel is a great ride for you and your family! This old-fashioned carousel will bring back memories as well as create new ones with your children. Lastly, don’t forget to ride the train! The train is a great way to scope out the shops in the Village Greene as you plot your next move, shopping!

As if all of the crafters and vendors are not enough at the Mayfest, the Smithville Village offers over 50 unique shoppes. Each shoppe offers something different! Can’t decide which stores to visit? Stop by all 50! It’s just too hard to pick and choose.

As many as 12,000 people visit Mayfest each day.
