Honey Harvest at Howell Living History Farm

Event Details

With the hives open and the bees on their best behavior, the Howell Farm beekeeper invites visitors to look inside the supers and meet the worker bees. Then help uncap and extract this year’s crop of honey from the combs, taste it, and bottle some to take home. Hive opening happens at 11 a.m. (weather permitting), followed by honey extraction at 1 p.m.
