Event Details
Howell Farm features a decorated historic farmhouse and activities for the whole family. hear the band, do some crafts, visit the animals and get a ride on a horse-darwn 1800s sleigh.
The blacksmith will be hard at work and of course the gift shop will be open for holiday gift buying. The visitor center will offer warm drinks, cookies, lunch and light refreshments.
Toys for Tots will be onsite accepting new unwrapped gifts for children in need.
And the final is the arrival of Santa by steam engine!
Schedule
- 10:00–4:00 – Howell Farm hours
- 10:30–3:00 – Jugtown Mountain String Band plays in the Visitor Center barn
- 10:30–12:30 – Visit the farmhouse to see turn-of-the-century Christmas decorations in the parlor
- 12:30–3:30 – Visit Santa in the farmhouse after he arrives by steam engine
