Three days of fun to celebrate America!

July 3rd

Live performances and educational events unfold on platform stages along both banks of the Delaware River. Actors in Revolutionary War costume bring the country’s founding to life, while music and dance fill the afternoon. The evening caps off with a dramatic fireworks display launched from two boats on the river — and 200 synced drones lighting up the sky overhead.

July 4th

Throughout this Independence Day, we will offer live music and events. A cash bar will be available having a revolutionary themed tavern under a tent. Actors portraying patriots will lead this event with educational discussions during the pub crawl to the revolutionary themed tavern.

July 5th

Today will begin with the “Freedom Parade” starting in New Hope and ending in Lambertville. We will end at 12 noon with simultaneous bell ringing from both sides of the river. 

In between, there will be a Dragon Boat race on the river with actors portraying patriots in the boats. Color guard ceremonies, dramatic reading of the Declaration of Independence along with singers from Playhouse and Music Mountain will be singing “God Bless America” from both sides of river utilizing stadium quality speakers.
