Mercer County has two very different personalities and both are worth your time. Princeton is an Ivy League town with excellent museums, great independent restaurants, and a walkable downtown that doesn’t feel as stuffy as you’d expect. Trenton – the state capital – has more Revolutionary War history than almost anywhere in the country and a growing arts scene finally getting some attention. And just outside the city, Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton is a 42-acre outdoor sculpture park that draws visitors from hours away.
