Cape May city is one of the most intact Victorian resort towns in the country – the architecture alone is worth the trip – and it’s one of the top birding destinations in North America. Wildwood brings the opposite energy: free beaches, retro Doo Wop motels, and a boardwalk built for maximum fun. Ocean City sits somewhere in the middle – family-friendly, dry, and genuinely beloved by everyone who grew up going there.
