Bergen County is where Jersey and New York blur together – and that’s part of the appeal. The Palisades along the Hudson River offer some of the most dramatic views in the state, and you don’t need to cross a bridge to see them. Ridgewood has one of the best downtown dining scenes in North Jersey, and Fort Lee, right at the foot of the GW Bridge, has more history than most people realize: it was the hub of America’s first film industry. Bergen is dense, diverse, and always moving.
